Dodo Niță’s first meeting with Tintin was in 1983, at the French library in Craiova, where he read King Ottokar’s »Sceptre«. It was the beginning of Niță’s journey into the world of Tintin, a journey that eventually brought him back to Romania. In this new, revised bilingual edition (English-Swedish) of his publication »Tintin in Romania«, he demonstrates that Hergé’s »Syldavia« was partially inspired by Romanian history and geography.
