»Sofia Z-4515,« written by Gunilla Lundgren together with Sofia Taikon, is a comic album about an eight-year-old Polish-Roma girl who was deported to the extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau during World War II. The book also contains a short description of the period 1933–1945 and a text about the Roma people’s deportation to Transnistria in 1942. The book belongs to the Harap Alb series of bilingual books for young readers and inaugurated the Children’s Roma Library, which opened in Bucharest April 26 in 2016. The Association Harap Alb works with the implementation of the Children’s Literature Project, Harap Alb House of Stories, inspired by the Swedish »Junibacken.«
